    Fifth Annual Conference and Award Ceremony of the ANT

    Project duration: January - May 2013 (5 months)

    The fifth conference of the Arab Network for Tolerance (ANT) was organized in Broumana (Lebanon) on April 26-28, 2013 and brought together more than 30 participants from fourteen Arab countries. The conference was launched on April 26, with the award ceremony of the annually presented ANT prize - given to those who have highly contributed to the promotion of tolerance in the Arab world.

    Phase II of the Arab Network for Tolerance

    Implemented: by the Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies (RCHRS), located in Ramallah Palestine, under its Human Rights and Tolerance Programme.

    Funded: by the Foundation for the Future.

    Project duration: January 2011 - September 2012 (21 months)

    This project served to consolidate the Arab Network for Tolerance in terms of participation and transparency. In this phase that followed the project for the establishment of the ANT the Network started to operate independently from RCHRS.

  • Project: Establishment of the Arab Network for Tolerance

    Establishment of the Arab Network for Tolerance

    Implemented: by the Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies (RCHRS), located in Ramallah Palestine, under its Human Rights and Tolerance Programme.

    Funded: by the Foundation for the Future.

    Project duration: June 2008 - December 2010 (30 months)

    The project started with RCHRS’ decision to broaden its work outside Palestine, and formed part of the Centre’s efforts to reach a wider audience in its work of diffusing the concepts and values of tolerance. The idea was to create a Network that aims to disseminate the culture, values and concepts of tolerance and to counter fundamentalism, violence and division, trends seen throughout Arab countries today.
